DEFINITIONS
“Cab” as may be used in this document includes all categories of transport vehicles like Hatchback, Sedan, SUV, Innova, Innova Crysta and any other vehicle meant for transporting passengers.
“Cab Operator” means all the cab operators providing their vehicles alongwith their drivers.
TYPES OF CAB BOOKINGS FACILITATED BY WAVESCAB
- Airport Cab:
- This shall exclusively cater to the needs of User intending to travel from and to the Airport. The service provided is intracity in
nature and shall not facilitate the User to book intercity Airport drops
- Car Rental (intracity):
- This enables User to book vehicles operated by cab operators having AITP license on hire/rental basis. This service
shall be provided for both intercity and intracity on exclusive basis by booking the entire Vehicle of the cab/taxi operators.
- Outstation Cab:
- This enables User(s) to book vehicles operated by cab operators having All India Tourist Permit (AITP) vehicles and
operating between two separate cities. On the basis of the demand/requirement of the User, wavescab's as a facilitator
connects the User with the concerned cab operator.
ROLE OF WAVESCAB AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Wavescab does not operate cab services on its own. In order to provide a comprehensive choice of cab services, cab types
and prices to User, it has tied up with many Cab Operators.
Wavescab acts only acts a facilitator between the Cab Operator and User. The transaction is always between the Cab Operator and the User.
It is the sole responsibility of the Cab Operator to ensure it has all the requisite licenses, approvals, insurance and
permits from appropriate authorities required to undertake the travel booked. Wavescab gives no warranty or assurance in
regard to requisite licenses, approvals, insurance and permits which the Cab Operator is supposed to obtain from
appropriate authorities.
Wavescab shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever for any claims with respect to the trip including without
limitation, claims pertaining to timeliness, safety, continuity, uninterrupted travel, quality, conditions of vehicle or
driving skill, the Cab not departing or reaching on time, behavior of the cab driver, interiors of the Cab, cancellation
of the trip by the Cab Operator due to any reason whatsoever, the baggage of the User getting lost, stolen or damaged,
the Cab Operator providing a different type of Cab to the User, the User waiting at the wrong boarding point, the User
being dropped to nearest location by the driver of the Cab due to any unavoidable circumstances, or any act or omission
of Cab Operator causing accident, loss of life to the User.
Wavescab will not be liable to User or to any other person for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential
loss, damage, cost or expense of any kind whatsoever and howsoever caused from out of the information derived by User
through usage of Website, in so far as such information is provided by the Cab Operator.
In case of break down or accident of Cab where Cab Operator has been unable to make alternative arrangement,
wavescab shall provide proportionate refund to User for uncovered distance. Any claims, liabilities or legal
costs arising out of such event shall be borne by the Cab Operator.
Airport Pickup and Drop
- No need to pay State Tax or other similar taxes to the driver.
- All road toll fees will be charged extra and need to be paid to the concerned authorities as per actuals.
- Driver would wait maximum 30 minutes for Airport Pickup and 15 minutes for Airport Drop from your scheduled pickup time at your pickup location. Post this, your trip may get cancelled without any refund. If there is a mutual agreement between customer and driver, waiting charges would be Rs 2 /mins.
- Any grievances or claims related to the cab travel should be reported to Wavescab within 12 hours of travel
time
- In case of airport drop, we assume that you have kept buffer time to avoid any unanticipated delay like traffic,
road blockage, etc. Wavescab will not be responsible for any delay or missed flights
- In case of airport pickup, we assume that you have kept buffer time for baggage collection, immigration,
custom checks, etc.
- We do not commit on particular fuel type vehicle like Petrol, Diesel or CNG. Cab will be provided on the basis
of availability.
- AC will be switched off in hilly areas
- You are not allowed to take pets with you inside the cab
- Due to traffic or any other unavoidable reason, pickup may be delayed by 30 mins
- You are solely responsible for managing your own travel schedule. Wavescab will not be liable for any
compensation if you happen to miss your scheduled flight, train or bus due to delay pickup, traffic jam or delay
due to any other reason during the trip
For fixed price airport pickup and drop
- Offer valid from 25/10/23 to 31/10/23
- The offer is applicable to both Airport to City (3:00 AM to 6:00 AM) and City to Airport (9:00 PM to 11:59 PM) bookings.
- This offer is valid only on the airport cab booking times mentioned above.
- 5% GST Applicable
- All road toll fees will be charged extra and need to be paid to the concerned authorities as per actuals.
- The offer is only applicable on Hatchback & Sedan cabs booking.
- The extra per KM price will be applicable as mentioned.
OutStation- OneWay
- No need to pay, State Tax or other similar taxes to the driver.
- All road toll fees will be charged extra and need to be paid to the concerned authorities as per actuals.
- Driver would wait maximum 30 minutes from your scheduled pickup time at your pickup location. Post this,
your trip may get cancelled without any refund. If there is a mutual agreement between customer and driver,
waiting charges would be Rs 2/mins.
- Once you exceed the km limit for your trip, you shall be charged for extra Kms. These charges to be paid
directly to the driver.
- In case of partial payment, the balance payment of trip needs to be paid in advance at the time of pick-up.
- You need to collect receipts from the driver for any extra charges paid directly to the driver during the trip.
WavesCab is not liable to provide invoices for such amounts.
- Any grievances or claims related to the cab travel should be reported to WavesCab within 12 hours of travel
time.
- AC will be switched off in hilly areas
- We do not commit on particular fuel type vehicle like Petrol, Diesel or CNG. Cab will be provided on the basis
of availability.
- You are not allowed to take pets with you inside the cab
- Due to traffic or any other unavoidable reason, pickup may be delayed by 30 mins
- Incase the driver/cab that reaches you for pick up is different from what we have communicated, please do
not board the cab and call us for assistance.

- This is a point to point booking and only one stop for meal is included
OutStation-RoundTrip
- Guests will have to pay the Toll Charges & State Tax directly to the driver at the end of the trip.
- Post 10 PM to 6 AM, an additional night charge (Rs 300 /night) will be applicable. These charges should be directly paid to the driver.
- Driver would wait maximum 30 minutes from your scheduled pickup time at your pickup location. Post this,
your trip may get cancelled without any refund. If there is a mutual agreement between customer and driver,
waiting charges would be Rs 2 /mins.
- Once you exceed the km limit for your trip, you shall be charged for Extra Kms. These charges to be paid
directly to the driver.
- Car can be retained till 08:30 PM, 14 August, post which a charge of Rs 1875 (includes 125 Kms & 12 hrs) will
be levied.
- In case of partial payment, the balance payment of trip needs to be paid in advance at the time of pick-up.
- You need to collect receipts from the driver for any extra charges paid directly to the driver during the trip.
Wavescab is not liable to provide invoices for such amounts.

- Incase the driver/cab that reaches you for pick up is different from what we have communicated, please do
not board the cab and call us for assistance.
- Local sightseeing in Origin city is not permitted.
- You are solely responsible for managing your own travel schedule. Wavescab will not be liable for any
compensation if you happen to miss your scheduled flight, train or bus due to delay pickup, traffic jam or delay
due to any other reason during the trip.
Local Rentals
- Guests will have to pay the Toll Charges & State Tax directly to the driver at the end of the trip
- Driver would wait maximum 15 minutes from your scheduled pickup time at your pickup location. Post this,
your trip may get cancelled without any refund. If there is a mutual agreement between customer and driver,
waiting charges would be Rs 2/min.
- Once you exceed the km limit for your trip, you shall be charged for Extra Kms. These charges to be paid
directly to the driver.
- You need to collect receipts from the driver for any extra charges paid directly to the driver during the trip.

- Cab should only be taken to places within the serviceable city. Else driver has the right to deny.
- Post the package inclusions, extra Km and extra hour charges will apply as mentioned. Parking charges, if
applicable, should be paid to the driver directly
Driver & Vehicle Details
- Driver details will be shared up to 2 hr prior to departure.
- If your pickup time is less than 2 & half hours from booking time, Driver details will be shared up to 1 hr prior to departure.
Luggage Bags
- Hatchback has space for 1 Luggage Bags. However depending on the number of passengers, luggage can be
adjusted in seating area with driver consent.
- Sedan has space for 2 Luggage Bags. However depending on the number of passengers, luggage can be
adjusted in seating area with driver consent.
- SUV, Innova & Innova Crysta has space for 3 Luggage Bags. However depending on the number of passengers, luggage can be adjusted in seating area with driver consent.
- In case the car happens to be CNG, the luggage space will be lesser.
However depending on the number of passengers, luggage can be adjusted in seating area with driver consent.
Cab Type
- If the booking will be for cab type Hatchback and we do not commit on providing any preferred cab model (Indica, Swift or similar)
- If the booking will be for cab type Sedan and we do not commit on providing any preferred cab model (Dzire, Etios or similar)
- If the booking will be for cab type SUV and we do not commit on providing any preferred cab model (Xylo, Ertiga or similar)
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Airport transfer:
1. No Cancellation Charges if booking Cancelled at least 1 hour prior of pickup time.
2. 50% of total fare upto Rs. 200 will be deducated if booking cancelled less than 60 minutes from pickup time.
3. Non-Refundtable if cancelled after Pickup Time.
- Oustation travel:
1. No Cancellation Charges if booking Cancelled at least 2 hours prior of pickup time.
2. 100% of total fare upto Rs. 1000 will be deducated if booking cancelled less than 2 hours from pickup time.
3. Non-Refundtable if cancelled after Pickup Time.
- Local Rentals:
1. No Cancellation Charges if booking Cancelled at least 1 hour prior of pickup time.
2. 100% of total fare upto Rs. 1000 will be deducated if booking cancelled less than 60 minutes hour from pickup time.
3. Non-Refundtable if cancelled after Pickup Time.
REFUNDS
- If you are eligible for refunds based on the “Cancellation Policy” policy above, the refund will be remitted back to you in 5-7 working days.
- If its a Instant Refund, the refund will be remitted back to you in 1-2 working days.
IMPORTANT INFO
- Once your payment is done, your trip is guaranteed! Our partners usually accept trip within 5 minutes of
booking confirmation However, final driver & cab details will be shared 2 hours/ 1 hour prior to the journey.
- You'll get an entire cab with a driver. You can take your friends & family along as per the car size.
- Please choose your pickup time keeping a buffer for immigration, collecting baggage, custom check etc.
PAYMENT FOR BOOKINGS AND ANY ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS
Booking of a Cab can either be “Prepaid”, or “Part Payment” as per the options made available by the Cab operator on
the Website of wavescab.
In “Prepaid” model, the total booking amount is paid by the User at the time of booking itself. Such total booking
amount includes the base fare, applicable taxes, service fees as may be charged on behalf of the Cab operator,
and any additional booking fee or convenience fee charged by wavescab.
In “Part Payment” model, the User is required to pay a specific percentage of the total booking amount at the time
of making the booking and balance payment shall be made directly to the driver at the time of check-in.
Any booking is subject to applicable cancellation policy set out on the booking page or as communicated to the User(s).
In case of Car Rental, Outstation Cab and Airport Cab bookings, the booking amount paid does not include toll charges, interstate
taxes, passenger taxes or any other applicable levies and the same shall be borne by the User.
Expenses like toll charges, permit charges, parking charges, entry fees, Service Tax & any other Government Tax as per
Government guidelines are to be borne by the User and paid directly to the driver.
The estimate cost provided at the time of booking is not to be construed as the final pricing for your trip unless
specifically indicated. The final amount for your trip will be calculated based on actual usage
(number of Kilometers and hours). Distance and time are calculated from garage to garage and not from the
pick-up of the User for both within city and outside city trips.
The travel allowance wherever applicable has to be paid directly to the driver.
